The difference between cores

This is a standard core, notice the area around the battery release is flat black.

This is a SuperCore, the area around the battery release is silver.

The SuperCore sticker is not a good indicator of a real SuperCore. These stickers came with every ERS-210A and can easily be put on a standard core.

One other thing, the MADE IN JAPAN sticker is different between these two. This is not always the case, there are some standard cores that have the © 2000-2002 Sony Corporation stickers on them. This should not be used to determine if a core is a SuperCore or not.
