| The ERS-31L was introduced on May 15th
2002 to commemorate the 3rd anniversary. The 31L is a cheaper version
AIBO and does not have wireless capabilities. The 312 is also refereed
to as an LM series robot. The 31L is the last in the series of LM
robots.
The 31L is available only in caramel brown. The sensors on the
31L are the tail and the movement of AIBO's head, up for scolding
or down for praise. The light on the top of AIBO's head is for interpreting
his/her mood. There are also sensors on each paw.
The 31L is often refereed to as a Pug because of the resemblance
to the dog.
